These non-refundable fees are used to cover the training materials provided to training participants.
CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY
If circumstances require a cancellation, rescheduling, or other change in your appointment, this information must be communicated to the Office of the Ombudsperson no later than 24-hours prior to the appointment. This policy ensures that our Office can effectively schedule another appointment in place of your cancelled one.
Visitors who arrive more than 15 minutes late (without calling to notify the Office) for a scheduled appointment are considered a no-show. No-show visitors are allowed one opportunity to reschedule the missed appointment, which requires a $25 rescheduling fee. Rescheduling fees are accepted (in cash or money order) at the beginning of the training appointment only.
The Office of the Ombudsperson may not be able to accommodate visitors who request last-minute appointments for training. It is the visitor’s responsibility to contact the office two weeks prior to the student’s deadline.
We understand that unavoidable circumstances may cause you to cancel with less than 24-hours notice. However, the Cancellation and No Show fees are the sole responsibility of the visitor and must be paid in full upon arrival to the rescheduled training.
Fees waivers may be considered for extenuating circumstances with management approval.
